LADY-K LKWE ASHE-VEGAS
A001530661 (Purebred Alpine Buck)
Ashe-Vegas is a very dairy young buck with great general appearance. He comes from a great pedigree that includes dam, and grand-dam who have both appraised 92 EEEE and placed well at the ADGA National shows. Lady-K SRR Vegas, his dam, was Reserve Junior Champion at the 2005 ADGA nationals and placed 15th as aged doe at the 2010 ADGA Nationals. He has sired several winning kids for us that have dry legs , a BJDIS and top 20 placings at Nationals in 2011. We look forward to seeing udders in 2012.
BEARLY EMPEROR ANAEHOOMALU
“Hoo” was a late fall addition to our herd. We had not planned on adding more bucks and had decided to close the herd in 2011 but when Ben Rupchis of Bearly Alpines offered him to us we could just not say no. He is the full proven genetic brother to the top selling 2011 spotlight sale buck ($5000.00) and son of the 2011 ADGA Total performer SG Bearly Reprise Alexandria 3*M EX92. His dam is the only doe in the breed with two 4,000 pound records on official DHI test to have appraised EX92 or higher more than once — she has done so three times. Hoo’s full sister was Junior Reserve Grand Champion at the 2011 NC State Fair in Raleigh and he himself had 3rd place Jr. Get of Sire at the 2011 ADGA National Show.
Hoo will be used on many of our 2011 kids as well as a couple of late breedings to our milkers.
The above picture really does not do him justice as it was taken when he was unclipped and in rut and just off the truck from Virgina. We will get some better pictures in the spring but you should be able to see that he is a long, level and uphill buck with a good front end. We are looking for great things from him in 2012 due to his maazing pedigree and dam’s LA and DHIR records

GCH Vance’s WRCR Tishona 6*M EX91
We bought Padvinian into our herd for his Willow Run lines, and strength and beauty of his dam - Vance’s WRCR Tishona as well as her proven and documented milk production. We expect him to help out in many lines of our does due to his strength, power and style. We had always admired Hull’s Alpines and when the chance came up to get a great proven buck of Kim Hull’s breeding without having to travel to Texas we said yes and made arrangements to get him and he delivered on his pedigree siring Sunrising Pad Nellie for us who placed 7th as an Intermediate kid at the 2011 ADGA Nationals.

IRON-ROD STB SHOSHONE
Technically Shoshone is not owned by Sunrise Farm but since he lives here we get to use him. Robin saw his sire when she went to pickup her Iron-Rod doe and decided that she had to have a son of his. We are happy with his two kids out of Razzle this spring and he has also been used by S-Stock Exchange on their single Alpine as well.
SUNRISING PAD REX
Rex is a son of our own GCH Goldenbrooke Riki Tiki Tavi by Padvinan. We will be using him extensively in the fall of 2012
NODAWAY REPRISE KABOOM (sold)
A001496626 (Purebred Alpine Buck)
Kaboom comes from the well respected Nodaway herd and was used on all of our Alpines in 2009. His kids are doing very well on the show circuit. Kaboom adds width and also excellent rear leg set. Although Kaboom has not been shown or appraised yet — at our linear appraisal this year (2010 the appraiser commented that he saw an unusually high number of EC’s (excellent) in rear legs in our young stock. Kaboom has 3 milking daughters here all of whom have earned their milking stars as first freheners in 2011. When we sold him we retained the rights to have him collected and hope to have him in the tank in 2012.
