Kidding pictures

As of October most of our available 2010 kids have been sold. In the list below breedings that still have kids available or does that are for sale are highlighted in GREEN.

We will offer a few additional milking does (in milk) for sale in the spring of 2011 to make room for next years kids that we are keeping in. If you are looking for does in Milk contact us now and we will put you on the waiting list. These does are healthy, friendly and have been trained to the milkstand - ready to be your home milk supply. We just can't keep them all as we need to make room for this year's kids that we are keeping. If you are interested in reserving a kid for 2011 Contact us us now to be sure you are near the top of on the list. We will only be offering 2nd does out of our Nubians - all first doe kids will be retained in 2011. As well if you are thinking of getting a milker in 2011 contact us to get on a waiting list. We will be freshening about 30 does in the spring of 2011 and would like to keep our milkers to under 20 so there will be quite a few for sale in the spring in milk.

Just because it's not listed for sale doesn't mean it doesn't have a price (with the exception of Mountain Top, Serene, Raven, Ashevegas and Riki Tiki Tavi).

John and Judy have competed at the National Level and now raise Nigerians just outside of Forest City, NC. John and Judy have been very helpful in teaching us the ins and outs of showing and we truly appreciate their assistance and guidance.

Sharon's website is currently out of date but she currently has does and several quality kids available for sale as listed on the Lamanchas page on the left. Sharon has bred several Champion Lamanchas and has a very high quality herd.

Sunrise Farm Kid Sales Policies:
Prices listed are for pickup at the farm. Contact us to reserve ($50 deposit to hold with balance due at pickup)
We can take credit cards via Paypal - contact us for details. If you are not within driving distance prices listed include transport to the closest airport (AVL or GSP) ,but does not include airfare. Transportation to CLT will incur an additional charge of $50. Air shipped animals require a crate w/shipping supplies, and a health certificate. Buyer is responsible for these items as well as registration fees. We do disbud and tattoo all animals prior to pickup. We will only sell kids registered if we feel are of good quality and structurally sound.

Once the kid leaves our premises we are not responsible for it.

Refunds will not be given once a kid is picked up or delivered to an airport with one exception - if for some reason an animal is found to be genetically unsound or infertile we will refund your purchase price. Requirements for refund are a signed document from a licensed veterinarian on their letterhead stating that the problem is of genetic origins and that the animal is infertile.

Additional charges of $5.00 per day will be incurred for board if a pre-ordered animal needs to stay longer than 1 month after you are notified that your kid is ready.

Note: Unlike many other breeders we do not reserve the right to keep an animal. If you give us a deposit you will are entitled to and will receive the kid chosen provided their is a birth of that sex. If your choice is not born your deposit will be refunded or can be applied to any unreserved and available kid.

DISCOUNT AND INCENTIVE PROGRAM:

We offer substantial discounts to 4-H and FFA members, Piedmont Dairy Goat Association Members as well as those who commit to participate in the planned 2010 Spindale Goat Festival.

Please ask if you are a member of one of these organizations and we can be very flexible depending on circumstances.
One of our main concerns is that all of our goats go to good homes......

Also because we are trying to proof our new buck and gain more data on our does, we are implementing an incentive program. Any animal that is linear appraised up to three times in the next four years (through 2015) will get $10 back upon a copy of each LA score. Any doe that is put on DHIR will receive $25 back for up to three lactations per doe of at least seven months upon receipt of her records by ADGA.

We offer a free breeding for each doe purchased at the full listed price (and we have purchased a new Purebred Alpine buck the well respected and very successful Lady-K herd for 2010 -his dam and grandam have both appraised 92 EEEE) - live service if you can show proof of a clean herd and health check (certified CAE and CL/TB testing within the current year)..
