For 2012 we will be continuing to offer discounts to 4-H, FFA and members of the Piedmont Dairy Goat Association or participants in the Spindale Goat Festival. We also have an incentive program available for those purchasers who are on milk test or who participate in ADGA’s Linear Appraisal Program. See our Dairy Goats page or Contact Us for questions.
Our fall 2012 breeding plans (for 2013) kids will be posted on our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/SunriseFarmNC and we are accepting deposits now.
We generally do not post does in milk for sale but with our fairly large herd almost always have some available so if you are looking for a doe in milk just email or give us a call. All our milkers have LA and DHIR records and the entire herd is tested annually for CAE, TB and brucellosis and has always been negative and as of February 2012 we are an USDA officially certified and accredited herd.
All of our bucks have been collected so we also have straws available for sale - contact us for pricing. While we were unable to attend the 2012 ADGA Nationals we do intend to go in 2013 and we may be able to arrange delivery there.
We are members of the PDGA and were proud sponsors of the Piedmont Dairy Goat Association’s Summer 2009, 2010 and 2011 Shows - Summer in the Mountains Dairy Goat Show. Sunrise Farm sponsored the Showmanship Class. We are also members of Alpines International and the International Nubian Breeders Association.
